The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Delta State Chapter, has announced the election of Mr. Charles Omordia as its new Chairman. He emerged unopposed alongside other executive members, ushering in a fresh mandate to advance the growth of the ICT profession in the state.
The new leadership team includes:
- – Mr. Charles Omordia – Chairman
- – Dr. Okpako Ejaita – Secretary
- – Dr. Rume Yoro – Treasurer
- – Dr. Steve Ohwo – Publicity Secretary
In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Omordia expressed deep appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and his team:
“I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been elected—unopposed—as the Chairman of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Delta State Chapter. This mandate is not taken lightly. It is a call to service, and to building a more inclusive and impactful NCS Delta. Together with my team, I pledge to lead with transparency, purpose, and commitment to our shared values as ICT professionals.”
The Omordia-led executive outlined key priorities for their tenure, including:

- – Enhancing partnerships with government, industry, and academia.
- – Driving digital transformation initiatives across Delta State and beyond.
Mr. Omordia emphasized that the chapter will work closely with members, stakeholders, and partners to position NCS Delta as a hub of innovation and professional excellence in ICT.
